A free replacement service is available within 1 year from the date of pickup for any inappropriate products. Lens distortion, cracks, scratches (lenses, coating), etc. would not be included in the warranty.

Could I use the warranty replacement service in other stores?
Warranty replacement services are available for OWNDAYS all over the world.
  • Please contact the store of purchase in advance, if you wish to use the warranty replacement service overseas.
If I lose the guarantee card, could I still use the warranty replacement service?
The warranty service will not be applicable if the guarantee card is lost. Please keep it with care.
If the warranty period expires, is there still warranty authority?
The warranty period cannot be extended.
If the purchased glasses are lost, are they included in the warranty replacement service?
Lost products are not included in the warranty replacement service.
May I have a replacement service of the prescription is inappropriate?
A free replacement service is available within 1 year from the date of pickup for any inappropriate products. Lens distortion, cracks, scratches (lenses, coating), etc. would not be included in the warranty.
Is damage to the lens included in the warranty replacement service?
Any damage to lenses would not be included in the warranty replacement service but treated as a lens replacement with an additional cost. Lens replacement, HK$480 per pair. The lens can be replaced at a half-price discount of the lens replacement price within 1 year from the date of pickup.
  • Additional fees may be charged for the replacement of special lenses.
  • The replacement may not be able to be completed due to the material, design, and condition of the frame.
If the lens is too thick, can I choose a thinner lens?
We would recommend the most suitable lens to customers according to different customers’ prescriptions and situation, please contact our store to know more about it.
  • It may not be possible to choose the thickness of the lens depending on the selected frame and prescriptions.
If I have purchased general myopia glasses, could I change to Prestige Progressive lenses?
A cost of HK$580~ would be charged for changing to Prestige Progressive lenses within two months from the pick-up date. (Only one-time change is allowed within the warranty period) It would take more than 10 working days from completion of production to delivery.
  • Ony limited to physical store.
Could I change back to normal presbyopic glasses if I have purchased the Prestige Progressive lenses?
Any inappropriate Prestige Progressive lenses could be exchanged with Aspheric Lenses for myopia or hyperopia free of charge within two months from the date of collection.
  • Please bring along the product and the warranty card to the store of purchase.。
Why do I feel uncomfortable when I choose to make the glasses with the current prescriptions?
Adaptability might be affected according to the difference in shape frame and the way of wearing. Please visit the purchased store with your warranty card for confirmation and adjustment.

Shop Purchase Enquiries

Do I need to provide prescription if I want to make the glasses at store?

It would be fine without a prescription. The store could examine the prescriptions to make glasses on site. However, in the following cases, we would recommend obtaining a prescription in advance.

  • Customers who have eye diseases and need to go to the ophthalmology clinic.
  • Customers who are unable to obtain stable eye refraction (more difficult to detect vision).

Children between the ages of 6 and 15 should go to the ophthalmology for their first prescription.

Could children measure the degree?
Stores provide eye examination service for the children on site.

Please tell me about the payment methods.
The main payment methods are "cash payment" and "credit card payment".There are also other payment methods for different stores, please contact the store staff for more details.
Could I pay by credit card?
We accept "VISA", "MASTERCARD" and other credit card payments. However, some of the stores do not accept credit card payments.
Do you have delivery service?
We do not have delivery services.
Could I make new glasses with the current prescription?
You could either use the same prescription of your existing glasses or bring your existing glasses to make the glasses.
  • If the lens is damaged or the coating is peeled off, it may not be possible to measure the prescription.
Could I only receive optometry service?
According to government regulations such as the Optometrist Act, customers could only enjoy optometry and optician services if they purchase OWNDAYS glasses.
How long does it take from producting to collection?
It could be picked up on the same day as soon as 20 minutes after the checkout.
  • The inventory of lens would vary to the difference in the number of visitors each day.
  • Some power lenses and special lenses require several working days for order. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.
Can I receive the optometry service with contact lenses?
The contact lens must be removed when examining. Contact lens cases and contact lens cleaning fluid would be provided in the stores for easier removal and wearing.
  • Customers should bring their own contact lenses as replacement if they are wearing disposable contact lenses.

Could I only purchase the frame?
The price of buying OWNDAYS frames only would be HK$200 less from the marked price.
  • Some of the products, such as product sets, sunglasses, etc., would not be able to provide frame-only services.
Is there any thin Aspheric Lenses?
We all provide a single price service for frames and lenses, providing suitable prescription in thin (1.60~1.74) aspheric lenses for customers.
Is there an additional cost for astigmatism?
There is no additional cost for thin aspheric lenses, regardless of any prescriptions and astigmatism.
Do you offer reading glasses?
The fee of presbyopia lenese is included in the marked price.
Do you offer Anti-UV lenses?
All lenses used by OWNDAYS contain anti-UV functions, which could block more than 99.9% of ultraviolet rays (ultraviolet wavelength 280nm~380nm).
Do you offer progressive / computer pregressive glasses?
Just top up a fee of HK$580 for Progressive (for far & near viewing distances) and Computer Progressive (for near & near viewing distances) lenses.
  • It would take up to 10 working days from producting to delivery.
Do you offer polarized glasses?
It could be upgraded to polarized lenese with an additional HK$580.
  • Half rim and rimless designs could not be made.
  • It would take up to 10 working days from producting to delivery.
Do you offer Transition lenses?
It could be upgraded to a Transition lenses with an additional HK$580.
  • It would take up to 10 working days from producting to delivery.
Do you offer glasses for strabismus?
Yes, glasses for strabismus would require a prescription signed by the department of ophthalmology.
  • The order may not be able to be completed due to the prescription of the lens.
Could it be made into non-prescription glasses?
Yes. The lenses are all anti-ultraviolet, anti-smudge coating lenses.
Are there any frames for children?
Yes.
When do I have to bear additional costs?
The additional costs for special lenses are as follows.

  • Progressive Lenses HK$580〜
  • Premium Progressive Lenses HK$1,980〜
  • Coloured Lenses, Bluelight Cut Lenses HK$280
  • Transition Lenses HK$580
  • Polarized Lenses HK$580
  • It takes a few working days for the production of special lenses.
Could the lenses of other brand’s frames be replaced?
Fee of HK$480 to replace the frame or lenses of other brands, and HK$1,060 to upgrade to Progressive lenses. Additional charges would be required for the replacement with Bluelight Cut Lenses, Colour Lenses, etc.
  • The replacement may not be able to be completed due to the material, design, and condition of the frame. Please refer to the instructions below.

Could I pre-order co-branded products and limited products?
Since co-branded products and limited products are limited in quantity, reservation service could not be made.

About after-sales services

Please tell me about the after-sales service.
Regarding the purchased glasses, we provide free parts replacement (nose pad replacement, screw replacement, adjustment).
  • The nose pad could be replaced only once. (Guarantee card is required)
What should I do if the lens is damaged?
The damaged lens could not repaired.
As exchange of lens after confirming the frame.
Could the frames from other brand be adjusted?
OWNDAYS all over the world provide free adjustment services.
  • There maybe cases where it could not be adjusted depending on the state of the frame.
Could adjustments be made outside location of the purchase store?
OWNDAYS all over the world provide free adjustment services.
Could I replace the screw of the nose pad or the screw of the temple if they are missing.
If the screws are loose, they could be replaced free of charge.

About online purchase

Could I arrange the lens replacement service online?
Sorry, lens replacement services are not applicable online. Please bring along the purchased glasses to the nearest OWNDAYS store for lens replacement.
What should I do if I am not sure of my prescription?
If you are uncertain about the prescription, please choose the option of using the lens redemption voucher when purchasing. Please bring along the product and the lens redemption voucher to the nearest OWNDAYS store. We will provide you optometry service and recommend the most suitable power lens (thin aspheric lens). Customers who have purchased glasses at OWNDAYS stores could check their information at stores nearby. Please inform the store’s staff your name and phone number to check the visual acuity examined in the past. (Due to the protection of personal information law, you must go to the store in person to check your vision and information)
Could I make changes for any wrong order information?
No further changes could be made once the order is established due to the automatic operation system.

What should I do if I have not received the "Order Completion Notification"?
If you do not receive the "Order Completion Notification" after completing the order, please confirm the following reasons.
